Little Gems is a community nursery that is located in a diverse inner-city area of Birmingham. Here at Little Gems we inspire to deliver a high standard of teaching to our children, all the while instilling confidence and ensuring lots of fun! This is achieved by stimulating the children with a wide range of activities that are carefully linked to the EYFS framework in order for each child to fulfil their full potential. How do we achieve this? By the mere fact that we pride ourselves on our awareness of cultural diversity we understand that not every child will be the same. Rather than just focusing on academic targets we also focus on the physical, social, intellectual and emotional development of each and every individual child.

OUTDOOR PLAY

At Little Gems Nursery we recognise the importance of outdoor play and exploration in a child's development. Our nursery boasts a spacious and thoughtfully designed outdoor area that serves as an extension of our indoor learning environment. Surrounded by nature, our outdoor space offers children opportunities for imaginative play, physical activity, and sensory experiences. From lush greenery to age-appropriate play structures, our outdoor area is carefully curated to stimulate children's curiosity and foster their love for the outdoors. Under the supervision of our experienced educators, children can explore, discover, and learn while developing important skills such as cooperation, problem-solving, and risk assessment. With safety as our top priority, our outdoor space is securely fenced and regularly maintained to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all children to enjoy.
